A Prayer for the New Year

Holy Father, God of our yesterdays, our today, and our tomorrows. We praise You for Your unequaled greatness. Thank You for the year behind us and for the year ahead. Help us in Your new year, Father, to fret less and laugh more. To teach our children to laugh by laughing with them. Knowing, when Love came to the stable in Bethlehem, He came for us. So that Love could be with us, and we could know You. That we could share Love with others. Thank You for another new year and for new chances every day. We pray for peace, for light, and for hope, that we might spread them to others. Forgive us for failing short this past year. We leave the irreparable past in your hands, and step out into the unknown new year knowing You will go with us. We accept Your gift of a new year and we rejoice in what's ahead, depending on You to help us do exactly what You want. I say it again, we rejoice In Jesus name, Amen.

Kahon Sa Kalipay (Box of Joy)

We are very thankful for all of those who have donated for the CEN’s Special Christmas Gift-Giving Project for the benefit of the Looc Outreach Children. The youth through the Christmas Bazaar have raised up half the amount and thanks to your help and kind donations we have gone beyond our target. Our initial target was to give gifts for 100 children, through God’s grace and your help we will be able to give more. The Christmas gift boxes will each contain the following: 1 pack of cookies 1 toothbrush 2 sachets toothpaste 4 sachets shampoo 5 sachets Milo 1 small bath soap We are now in the process of assembling the Christmas boxes and you may come anytime in the church office to help out in making them. The gift giving will be on the 18 th . We will have a fellowship for the Looc outreach children. In behalf of the CEN and the youth ministry, we thank you for your help. God bless!
